The first outing of 2023 was a street photowalk in Downtown Vancouver with an emphasis on the Roman amphitheater-inspired Vancouver Central Library. Convened in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery (Georgia and Hornby) and dispersed in small groups through the downtown area. Then reconvened at noon in front of the Vancouver Central Library main entrance (350 W.Georgia) for lunch, followed by a visit to the library’s 7,400 squ.ft. rooftop garden where photogs are welcome!

Wide angle lenses are ideal for street shooting while medium telephotos may put more distance between you and your subject.
