The October edition of DPC Workshop will bring us outdoors to Southlands for an in-person pet photography session.

🐾 Pet Photography Hands-On Workshop

📍 Southlands, Tsawwassen (in front of Four Winds Brewery)

Leading the pack is Greg Schurman – 4 Time BC Photographer of The Year. Greg will share practical tips, techniques, and his approaches to capture portraits that bring out the natural expressions and personality of our furry friends. Learn to encourage pet’s natural behavior, choose impactful perspectives, use natural light effectively, optimize gear and camera settings, and set yourself up for the most authentic and memorable photos. You will have the opportunity to practice.

Greg Schurman has received Commercial Photographer of the Year award from Professional Photographer of Canada. He earned the top award in Commercial, Portrait, and Weddings in the National Fuji Awards and has represented Canada in the World Photographic Cup.

Bring your camera and if you have, a prime lens with wide aperture, reflector, kneeling pad and most importantly, your inquisitive mind. A couple of members have kindly volunteered their dogs to model for this session.
