Guest presenter, François Cléroux, takes us on an exciting journey into the world of exposure in photography.
This workshop is a practical and poetic introduction to exposure — the foundation of photographic intention. Participants learn how light behaves, how the camera interprets tone, and how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO shape both brightness and meaning. The session moves from technical clarity to creative consequence, showing how exposure becomes a language rather than a rule. It is designed for photographers who want to move beyond “correct settings” and toward deliberate, expressive choices in-camera. Ideal for beginners ready to grow, intermediates seeking mastery, and anyone who wants their photographs to say something with intention.
-François Cléroux is an award-winning street photographer (and former DPC president), modern flâneur, and poet based in Vancouver.
