September 18, 2021We hope you are enjoying your summer and have been able to avoid the heat and the smoke to some degree. Our next DPC outing this summer will be this Sunday August 22nd at 9:30am at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver.
The 52 hectare park, 125 meters above sea level, is a major draw for floral display enthusiasts and photographers. As well as the Bloedel Conservatory, there is the beautifully landscaped and historic quarry garden; the arboretum with its native and exotic trees; and the rose garden, with thousands of specialty and hybrid blooms on display from June through to September.
Details as follows:
Where: Queen Elizabeth Park, 4600 Cambie Street, Vancouver. We will meet in front of the Bloedel Conservatory at the top of the park.
When: Sunday August 22nd @ 9:30 am
Parking: Upper parking lot at the top is closed till September 2021. All other pay parking areas will be open, including marked roadway parking.
Snacks & Gear: Bring light refreshment for energy. Bring macro, wide angle and medium tele primes/zooms.
