For our second outing of the year we will heading to a beautiful, tranquil Traditional Japanese Tea and Stroll Garden.
The Nitobe Memorial Garden located on the UBC campus is one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan and ranks consistently in the top 5 Japanese gardens in North America.
We are sending this email to you far in advance of the outing because you must go online and book an entry time to the garden.
BOOK YOUR VISIT HERE.IMPORTANT!!Scroll half way down the page to the Nitobe Garden booking – don’t book the UBC Botanical Garden ticket as that is something different!!
We have selected July 24th because there are still many entry time slots open for 10:00 -10:30am and 10:30 -11:00am. It would be cool if DPC members booked all of 20 the 10:00am slots – we’d have the place to ourselves!
You must enter within the duration of your selected entry time but can stay as long as you wish.
Try to book for the 10:00-10:30 entry time but if you have to book 10:30-11:00 or even 11:00-11:30 that is okay because we can meet up inside as we may spend a few hours there.
The cost of admission is only $5.00. What a bargain!
There is a parking garage conveniently located right beside the garden.
What: A visit to the Nitobe Memorial Garden at UBC.
