Hi everyone from David Francis and David Egan.Hope you are enjoying your summer, capturing superb images destined to score high in next year’s competitions.  Our next outing, the Ladner Criterium, will feature colour, action and creative use of shutter speed, as well as new phrases such as road rash, peloton, slipsteam and chainring tattoo!  The fast and furious Criterium, second leg of the Tour de Delta, spotlights lap after lap of high speed cornering, straight away sprints, and breakaways as competitors race for cash prizes and glory.

Where: Ladner Village.  Race start/finish is Delta street at Bridge street
Kids race:  3:45-4:30 pm
Men cat 3,4:  5:10pm
Women:  6:15pm
Men pro 1,2:  7:25pm

We will meet at the showstage/medical tent (corner Bridge & Delta streets) @ 4:30pm initially, then disperse along the route.  Best viewing areas are start/finish at Delta/Bridge, “crash corner” at Delta and Chisholm streets and 48th ave from Delta to Elliott streets.  Racing ends @ 7:25pm.  Refreshments and storytelling to follow at Riverhouse Pub, Delta.
