On January 16th, the DPC will select up to 10 prints to compete in the CAPA Pacific Zone Print Challenge hosted by the Dark Room Group in Abbotsford.  The first half of the meeting will be dedicated to the selection of 10 images by a panel of 3 judges, Francois Cleroux, Val Hider, and Roger Lasell.  Scores will be awarded up to 10 points by each judge and cumulated for a total score out of 30 points. After the selection process is completed, the images will be discussed with input from the makers.

You may submit up to 3 images for the selection process.  If you are submitting images, please get to the meeting early so we have ample time to record the titles and makers on the score sheets before the judging begins.

Details of the Pacific Zone Challenge:

  1. Open competition.
  2. Monochrome or colour.
  3. Maximum size 16″ by 20″; minimum size 80 square inches.
  4. Images must be matted, but only black or white mats are permitted.
  5. Label your images on the back top right corner with the title and your name as maker.
