We are excited to invite you to participate in our upcoming Print Coaching Night on Wednesday, October 9th at 7:30 PM at Kin Village in Tsawwassen.

7:00 PM: Doors open – meet and greet
7:30 PM: Meeting starts
To attend: Become a member of the Delta Photo Club by filling out the membership form at https://deltaphotoclub.com/member-sign-up-form. Or as always, we welcome guests to our regular* meetings. To request a seat, email us at printnight@deltaphotoclub.com

For this session, North Shore Photographic Society’s long-time Print Coordinator Martin Godwyn will join us to share his knowledge and expertise. He will also share some of his own work with us after the coaching session.

Why print, some of you may ask?

  • Understand your photography better – Print reveals details, tones, and emotions that might not be otherwise possible to pick up on screen
  • Enhance your experience – Printing transforms your work into a tactile, lasting creation that raises your connection with the photographic process to a whole new level
  • Create something lasting – Unlike digital files, prints have a tangible and permanent presence that can be appreciated for years to come

Print submission guidelines

Each member is welcome to submit up to 3 prints, which can be colour or monochrome/B&W. Prints should be:

  • Minimum size: 8 x 10”, maximum size: 16 x 20”
  • Mounted on sturdy backing board, maximum 16 x 20”
  • Mat is not required, but preferable
  • No frame or glass over the print
  • No signature or writing on the image or the front of the mat
  • Attach a label on the back of each print with Print title, Maker’s name, and Category (Colour or B&W) legibly printed

Important: In order to help us collect your prints’ info in advance and streamline part of the Print Night process, please fill out the DPC Print Night Registration Form before arriving with your prints for this Wednesday’s program.

We encourage everyone to take part in this fun learning opportunity and look forward to seeing your beautiful prints.
