July 5 from David Egan: I will be attending the Tour de Delta this evening in North Delta.

The women’s main event begins at 6:30 and the men’s starts around 7:30.

If you are attending look for me along the route and we could go for a beer afterwards. I will try to get there by 6:30.

If it is raining hard I may not stay too long.

I’ll be at the Ladner Criterium race July 6 @ 5pm near the start line. Tonight is the second leg of the fast and furious Tour de Delta road race—the Ladner Criterium.  It is a great opportunity to practice freezing fast-moving objects, storytelling with personal detail and composition and capturing dramatic motion blur with steady panning technique.

Start and finish:  Delta street at Bridge street.
