The summer is rapidly coming to a close, but there is still time for a final outing–or two–to capture unique and compelling compositions.  DPC’s Vinh Lam has put forth the Richmond World Festival (Aug.30-31) as an image-rich destination for club members in search of global flavour.

As Richmond City’s signature event, this festival attracts 55,000+ visitors and celebrates the region’s cultural diversity through music, food, sport and art from around the world.  Featuring over 100 artists on eight stages and the FEASTival of flavourswith over 60 food trucks, there is something for everyone and admission is free!

DATE:  Friday August 30 andSaturday August 31
TIME:   Friday 4pm-10pm and Saturday 11am-10pm
VENUE:  Minoru Park & Richmond Cultural Centre.  7191 Granville Ave. Richmond BC
GETTING THERE:  Parking will be limited, but transit options are plentiful.  From Ladner Exchange, take the 601 or 620 north to Bridgeport Skytrain Station, transfer to any bus going south to Richmond centre, then a 10 minute walk to Minoru park.
