Get ready for our first Photo Night of the season.

The themes are as follows:

1) 4 Legged Animals (4LA): By request we’re asking members to submit their finest 4 legged animal images. Let’s find images that tell a story of where and how they live.

2) Summer Scenes (SS): Capture an image from a warm weather adventure. This could be a shot from an activity, destination or event that you experienced in summer. We’d love to share images from your summertime experiences, something that shows how special that time of year can be.

3) Colour: The Oxford Dictionary defines colour as the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light. Your challenge is to capture colour that can evoke a response in your audience, an image where the light emitted/reflected from the colour makes the image.

Please take note of the numbering system below. Each member will go through their top, number one, images/videos for all categories and then we’ll move to the next person. So ensure you pick the images/videos you most want to share. If time permits we will repeat the process, with everyone showing their number two images/videos.

It is important to name your files as shown below so that they can be sorted and everyone’s images can be shown.

2) Summer Scenes (SS)

Use 2 for 2nd photo etc.

3) Colour

Use 2 for 2nd photo etc.

Videos/Slideshows

– LastnameFirstname- VS – Category – VideoTitle

– Videos should be kept to 2 minutes or less in length for viewing.

Note: Each member can submit up to 2 images for each of the themes of 1) 4 Legged Animals (4LA) 2) Summer Scenes (SS) 3) Colour

Each member can submit up to 1 video/slideshow per photo night.

Images/videos/slideshows need to be uploaded by by 10:00pm on Monday, September 22, 2025 using our upload form:

We will acknowledge receipt within a day or so.

If you run into problems with the form, you can email your images to our email below.

Remember, for the best display quality, images should be resized up to a maximum width of 1920 pixels and a maximum height of 1080 pixels. This may not be possible with cell/tablet images so please send us the largest image possible, up to the limits indicated above.
