Our next outing will be a visit to Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site on Friday morning instead of our usual Wednesday night meeting.

Situated on the bank of the Fraser River near Steveston, Britannia Shipyards National Historic Site is the original location of early fishing, canning, and boatbuilding operations. This historic and picturesque site, arranged along a wooden boardwalk, with a collection of heritage buildings and well-curated exhibits, offers very unique photographic opportunities.

Meet-up location: Small parking lot located at the east entrance
Additional parking lot at west entrance

Public transit: from Richmond-Brighouse Canada Line Station, take bus 402, 403 or 407 to the stop nearest Railway Ave and Moncton St. From there, walk approximately 10 mins to the site

We will wrap up the outing at noon and hop over to nearby O’Hare’s GastroPub for some refreshments and social. Non-members are welcome to join and meet our warm and friendly group.
