Event Type

This evening, the Club will be selection submission for the Fraser Valley Invitational.

The Competition is hosted by the Langley Camera Club. The theme for 2019, Circles. The Competition is on May 4, 2019.

Each club may enter a minimum of 4 up to a maximum of 10 images.  Only one entry per member is allowed.  Individuals belonging to more than one photography club, each of which is submitting an entry, may only participate in one club entry.  Failure to comply will result in all of the individual’s images being disqualified.  Images may be in colour, monochromatic, or a combination of both. Images not on theme will be disqualified. Images that were entered in a previous FVI will not be accepted.

Size:  Images must be in JPEG format and sized to meeting the parameters of a maximum height of 1050 vertical and a maximum width of 1400 horizontal pixels.  Square format images must be 1050 X 1050 pixels.

Format:  All images must be in sRGB colour space

Title:  Titles of images are to be comprised of 5 words or less.

Each member can submit up to 3 images
Send your images to digitalcompetition@deltaphotoclub.com. We will reply to your submissions, so if you do not get a reply by the end of the day (hopefully quicker), then check the email address & send it again.
Image selection will be done at the April 3rd club meeting with input from members as we have done in the past few years. We will separate into groups to discuss images & each group will come up with a score.
We may submit a minimum of 4 images up to a maximum of 10 images with the highest scoring images from unique makers being sent to the competition. This is a club competition only.
The final judging will be held on May 4, 2019 at Clayton Heights Secondary School, Surrey, with doors open at 6:30pm & judging starting at 7:30pm.
If you wish to join the group from the club going to this event, information will be sent out nearer the time.
