Cole Thompson Presents “Why Black and White?”
April 7, 20212021 – 2022 Season Opening Meeting
September 8, 2021Greetings everyone from Dave and David
We are kicking off summer with a celebration of the newest easing of restrictions (groups of 50 now allowed) by combining Cameras and Coffee with a return to nature—an al fresco gathering in the delightful canopied setting of Deas Island Park. This will be less of an outing and more of an opportunity to visit with old and new friends and share stories, knowledge and treats.
Details as follows
Where: Deas Island Regional Park. We will meet in the picnic area across from the heritage Inverholme Schoolhouse which is on the left midway through the park. Washroom facilities nearby.
When: Sunday June 27, 9:30 am–11:00am
Bring: Coffee or other beverages, light refreshments, folding chairs
Parking: Plenty of adjacent parking both gravel and paved
Bring your camera gear with you, if you wish, for discussion, instruction, technique-sharing and for post-meeting photography within the park. Most, if not all, attendees will be fully vaccinated, but social distancing norms will still be observed. For maps and complete details regarding Deas Park, see regional parks at www.metrovancouver.org for more info.
Hope you can make it
Dave Francis
