David Friederich showcases his wildlife expertise in order to increase your ability to capture compelling bald eagle photographs. Learn about the best places to find bald eagles in our area, the best equipment to capture amazing images, and the best settings and techniques that will help you succeed. Knowing more about an animal helps you get the images you are looking for, so some of the session will be devoted to expanding your knowledge of this magnificent bird. You will also learn categories of bald eagle photographs, ranging from portraits of a stationary bird to the intense action of birds in aerial combat.

David has been photographing bald eagles since the early 2000’s to the present. He will teach you what he’s learned along the way, including his current post processing workflow. David has also spoken to the Outings Committee about a possible follow up Outing to photograph bald eagles.
