Skills Development – Photography & Photoshop (2 Options)

Date(s) - 09/25/2019
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

The Delta Photo Club presents a two-part workshop “Introduction to Digital Photography” by long time member and acclaimed photographer Francois Cleroux.

These sessions will begin with what photography is, how your camera works, and the basics of exposures and composition. Cleroux will introduce what skills you may need to learn and help you get on your way to becoming a better photographer.

The classes are meant as a basic introduction for beginner photographers or as a refresher for those who wish to review the basics.

Guests are welcome for $15.00/class or $25.00 for the two, payable at the door. Classes are free for members in good standing of the Delta Photo Club. For the more experienced members of the Club, there will be a critique session with George Pierce on these dates.

When:  7:30 – 9:30 pm, at the Kin Village Recreation Centre in Tsawwassen, Wednesday September 25 and October 30th.

There is a second option for Sep 25

For those of you who would like an alternative to the Intro to Photography Class on Wednesday, we can have a casual sharing and critique session at Kin Village (back room) at the same time.  I expect that most people will take the course but for those who would like to share some photos and get some feedback in a smaller group, this is your chance.  Bring some photos, prints or digital if you have a device to show them (we will not have a projector), and bring any questions that you may have (e.g. What would make this better?  Should I crop differently, take something out, add something, move on to a different photo? …).  Also be prepared to provide input for others as this is a group input session and there will not be any pros (sorry no Greg) providing input.

We will meet in the back room, turn left after entering at the main entrance and go to the end.

George will be coordinating this session.  If you have questions, feel free to email him at
