DESCRIPTION:For the first zoom workshop of the 2022/23 season\, Delta Photo
  Club is pleased to present “Macro Photography - The Universe at Our Fee
 t” with acclaimed photographer Don Komarechka at 9-11 am\, Saturday\, Oc
 tober 8th.\n\nMacro photographers play by a different rulebook. Not only a
 re the technical challenges more prominent\, but so too are the creative o
 pportunities. This talk aims to explore many elements of macro photography
  from composition to staging\, various subjects you might never have consi
 dered\, and how to handle the mistakes you make along the way as a critica
 l component in your success.\n\nDon Komarechka is a Canadian nature and ma
 cro photographer living near Varna\, Bulgaria. From auroras to pollen\, in
 sects to infrared\, much of Don’s photographic adventures reveal a deepe
 r understanding of how the universe works. Exploring the world that we can
 not see with our own eyes has been a common thread in Don’s career as a 
 professional photographer. Always science-minded but never formally traine
 d\, Don uses photography as a way to explore and understand the world arou
 nd him.\n\nPhotographing something unusual or unknown is the perfect excus
 e to learn something new. Don’s work often pushes up against the technic
 al limitations of modern camera equipment and the physical limitations of
