SUMMARY:Workshop: “Abstract Art Photography” with Ursula Abresch
DESCRIPTION:Delta Photo Club is pleased to present “Abstract Art Photogra
 phy” with award winning fine art photographer Ursula Abresch at 7:30 pm\
 , Wednesday\, December 1st.\n\nUrsula explains\, “Abstract images do not
  have an immediate recognizable association with visible\, concrete realit
 y. They also are images that originate from reality but create their own 
 reality. I use elements such as colour\, light\, shadow\, line\, shape an
 d texture to show memories\, feelings\, sensations and impressions. My 
 images tell stories and play music\, create new realities in a unique and
  individual way\, and sometimes are simply the appreciation of beauty. Wi
 th this presentation I hope to inspire photographers of all levels to make
  pictures in a way that may provide them and their viewers with a deeper u
 nderstanding of their subject\, but also with great satisfaction and joy.
 ”\n\nUrsula Abresch is an art photographer based in the West Kootenays o
 f British Columbia. She was born in Argentina\, and raised in Chile and Ar
 gentina. She moved to the USA to attend university and eventually moved pe
 rmanently to Canada.\n\nShe has been an active art photographer for the la
 st 15 years. Her work is represented by Pacific Art Group out of Oakland\,
  California. She has had gallery showings in Trail\, New Denver and Nakusp
  as well as internationally in California\, Denmark\, Switzerland\, and Ku
 wait. Her work has sold to collectors and individuals worldwide. She has b
 een featured in various art publications\, and recently been on the cover
