DESCRIPTION:Recording now available for members.Paul Bride has been an adve
 nture photographer for almost 30 years. He was an adventurer first\, but o
 nce he realized the extraordinary world he was encountering in his many ad
 ventures\, “it just made sense” to become a serious photographer.\nPau
 l scraped together the money for better cameras and started a career that 
 has made him one of the most widely published Canadian photographers in th
 is growing genre. He now has over 60 front covers to his credit. In 2021\,
  he was one of the first photographers to be featured in the Canadian Alpi
 ne Journal\, now in continuous publication for over 118 years. He has work
 ed closely with many of the world’s best climbers\, including the best a
 lpinist who has ever lived (Paul was a contributor to the 2021 Netflix fil
 m The Alpinist\nabout the late Marc-Andre Leclerc). The skill set necessar
 y to photograph cutting edge alpinists in extreme environments obviously e
 xtends well beyond the camera\, and Paul will talk about the extraordinary
  and complex set ups necessary to capture this action.\nPaul’s photograp
 hy is not limited to mountaineering\, and he has a special interest in pho
 tographing Indigenous peoples around the world as well as sport activities
  on and under the water. Paul has a large format coffee table book coming
