DESCRIPTION:Recording now available for members.\n\nCompetition Photography
: The Secret of Strong Images and Properties That Matter\n\nIn this in-dep

lly in competition settings. He leads us through a series of systematic an
alysis of the key visual aspects\, the characteristics and their propertie
s found consistently in award-winning images. “There is a secret to maki
ng strong images for competition … The secret is hidden in plain sight\,
and once you know what it is\, it’s easy to see it in strong images.”
said Battaile.\nGordon is a 35-year veteran of the Forest Grove Camera Cl
ub in Oregon\, and has served as board member for 27 years on the Columbia
Council of Camera Clubs (4Cs)\, six of which as Chair. He had won 8 4Cs I

ous about developing a sharper photographic eye and mind and more impactfu
l image-making. This presentation offers universally valuable insights tha
t serve as an aid to create strong\, compelling\, and effective photograph
 s.
