 . Mario Traina\, known for his striking black and white infrared work\, wi
 ll share insights into the process and techniques behind this fascinating 
 medium.\n\nRecording now available for members.\n\n\nMario Traina is origi
 nally from Ontario\, but has called the Sunshine Coast home for the last t
 wo decades. His passion for black and white infrared photography shines th
 rough in his work\, particularly through his use of an 850 nanometer conve
 rted camera. The result? Surreal and stunning images with darkened skies\,
  dramatic cloud formations\, and lightened foliage\, creating an ethereal 
 version of reality. Traina's expertise blends traditional composition\, li
 ghting\, and post-production techniques with the otherworldly qualities of
  infrared photography. His work beautifully captures the natural landscape
 s of the province and beyond\, offering viewers a fresh perspective on the
