DESCRIPTION:Delta Photo Club is pleased to have Liron Gertsman return to pr
 esent “Northern British Columbia: My Favourite Place on Earth” at 7:30
  - 9:30 pm\, Wednesday February 1st on Zoom.\n\nAs a region of unique biog
 eography\, northern British Columbia is home to an incredibly special arra
 y of wildlife. Join award-winning photographer and biologist Liron Gertsma
 n on a virtual exploration of British Columbia’s far north\, as he share
 s images and stories from his many adventures in the region over the years
  as well as a myriad of photography tips.\n\nYou may have seen him on CBC
 ’s “The National”\, heard his voice on CBC Radio One\, or seen his w
 ork in publications such Canadian Geographic magazine\, The Guardian\, GEO
  magazine\, and others. His work has been experienced by millions in some 
 of the largest museums across the world\, including the Natural History Mu
 seum in London and the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. He uses his photos t
 o educate on the importance of preserving the natural world for the contin
 ued health and existence of all who live on our planet. As a naturalist an
 d photographer\, he feels it is his duty to show people the essence of Ear
 th\, by thinking outside the box to create eye-catching images that connec
 t people with the environment. Liron’s work recently swept the professio
 nal category of the 2022 Audubon Photography Awards and earned a highly co
 mmended designation in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year c
