DESCRIPTION:“Take the Mystery Out of Outdoor Portraiture” by Greg Schur
 man. Learn the fundamentals of posing small and large groups as well as th
 e art of lighting with fill flash\, reflectors\, diffusers and balancing n
 atural light in any location. Greg will demonstrate the ease of getting al
 l those great outdoor captures whether it be a large family or individuals
 .\n\nGreg Schurman was named BC Photographer of the Year by the Profession
 al Photographers of BC many times. He received numerous National Accredita
 tions from the Professional Photographers of Canada and has won PPOC’s C
 ommercial Photographer of the Year award. He earned the top award in Comme
 rcial\, Portrait\, and Weddings in the National Fuji Awards and he has rep
 resented Canada in the World Photographic Cup.\n\nThis workshop consists o
 f three parts: a short introductory zoom session\, a practical outdoor ses
 sion\, and a follow-up critique session.\n\nPART 1 - Wednesday\, Sept 15\
 , 7:30 - 9:00 pm\n\n(Open to DPC members and guests at no charge)\n\nGreg 
 will provide an overview of lighting scenarios such as back\, side\, front
 \, and mixed light. He will suggest a gear list and other helpful tips on 
 choosing the right location and dealing with tricky situations such as gla
 sses or different heights of subjects.\n\nThe Zoom link for the meeting wi
 ll be sent later in the afternoon of September 15th.\n\nPART 2 - Saturday
 \, Sept 18\, 3:00 - 5:00 pm\, Delta City Hall/Rotary Park\n\n(Open to DPC 
 members in good standing)\n\nMasks are mandatory. Hopefully you’ve been 
 double vaxxed too!\n\nThis session is weather dependent.\n\nPre-registrati
 on is required. Email workshops@deltaphotoclub.com by 8 pm\, Friday\, Sep
 tember 17\n\nBring your camera\, flash\, reflector\, and of course your th
 irst for knowledge. See how easy it is to capture outdoor imagery with gre
 at results.\n\nMembers will act as models for these: head shot\, full port
 rait\, couple photo\, group photo.\n\nPART 3 - Date: TBD - Critique Sessi
 on\n\n(Open to DPC members in good standing)\n\nMembers' photos taken from
  the Saturday workshop or on their own time can be shared at the follow-up
