DESCRIPTION:Happy New Year!\n\nDelta Photo Club kicks off 2021 with a works
 hop on “Planning in Nature Photography” Liron Gertsman. From the world
 -renowned Rocky Mountains to the rugged Pacific coastline\, British Columb
 ia's wild spaces are home to an incredible diversity of life. On Wednesda
 y\, January 6 at 7:30 pm\, join award-winning nature photographer Liron Ge
 rtsman on a virtual journey through this incredible land\, with a focus on
  the techniques that go into planning a successful photoshoot in nature.\n
 \n\n\n\nAt 20 years old\, Gertsman is already an accomplished nature photo
 grapher. You may have seen him on CBC’s The National\, heard his voice o
 n CBC Radio One\, or seen his work in publications such Canadian Geographi
 c\, The Guardian\, GEO\, and others. His work has been experienced by mill
 ions in some of the largest museums across the world\, including the Natur
 al History Museum in London and the Smithsonian in Washington\, DC. Liron 
 uses his photos to educate on the importance of preserving the natural wor
 ld for the continued health and existence of all who live on our planet. A
 s a naturalist and photographer\, he feels it is his duty to show people t
 he essence of Earth\, by thinking outside the box to create eye-catching i
 mages that connect people with the environment. Liron’s work has been wi
 dely recognized and awarded\, sweeping the youth category of the 2018 Audu
 bon Photography Awards and earning a highly commended designation in the p
 restigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition. Liron currently 
 studies biology at the University of British Columbia as he continues to b
 uild upon his passion and commitment to the environment. https://www.liron
