SUMMARY:Print Selection Night
DESCRIPTION:This will be an in-person meeting at Kin Village on March 26 to
  select prints for:\n\n 	Crescent Beach Black &amp\; White Print Challenge
 \n 	Inter-Club Friendly Print Competition\n\nFor Crescent Beach\, you are 
 invited to submit up to three (3) Black &amp\; White prints. Six (6) photo
 s\, all from different makers\, will be chosen to represent Delta Photo Cl
 ub at Crescent Beach Challenge on April 26 as well as at the Inter-Club Fr
 iendly Competition on April 30.\n\nFor the Friendly Inter-Club\, you can s
 ubmit up to two (2) prints\, colours and/or black &amp\; white. Out of all
  the prints submitted for both rounds of selection on this night\, we will
  select an additional 29 prints\, at least one (1) from each maker\, to a 
 combined total of 35 prints to represent DPC at the Friendly on April 30. 
 Should there be more than 35 makers\, image scores will be the deciding fa
 ctor.\n\nSchedule:\n\n 	7:00 PM - Arrival\, print stacking\, set up\n 	7:3
 0 PM - Crescent Beach selection starts (B&amp\;W\, open theme)\n 	8:40 PM 
 - Inter-Club Friendly selection starts (colour or B&amp\;W\, open theme)\n
 \nCompetition Rules &amp\; Guidelines\n\nPlease observe the rules and guid
 elines for each competition carefully as there are differences.\n\nCrescen
 t Beach B&amp\;W Print Competition Rules\n\n 	Subject is open (but inappro
 priate images will not be accepted)\n 	Prints must be black and white. No 
 tinted or toned prints will be accepted\n 	No AI images\n 	Prints must be 
 10 x 12 inches minimum\, and 16 x 20 inches maximum\n 	Prints may be produ
 ced on any type of photographic paper as long as the end result is black a
 nd white\, but not printed on non-paper items such as metals\n 	Prints may
  be displayed in any format such as polyptychs\, be circular or octagonal 
 in shape\, and have photographic framing of the image as long as the frami
 ng is either black or white\n 	Prints must be thick enough or attached to 
 suitable backing sufficient for them to stand upright on their own on an e
 asel to be judged. They may be matted with black or white matting\, but ar
 e not required to be\n 	Prints must not be framed or covered with glass\, 
 etc. There should be no script on the front of the prints or the mat\n 	Im
 ages should not have won or placed in previous CAPA competitions\n 	All en
 tries must have the following information attached to them on the back top
  right corner: Title\, Maker’s Name\, Club Name\, Address (use 5410 10th
  Ave Delta BC)\n 	Should your print be selected\, you will need to provide
  a jpg image titled the same as your print (Title-FirstLastName-DeltaPhoto
 Club.jpg)\n 	If a photographer is a member of more than one club they may 
 participate in only one club’s entry. Individual entries will not be acc
 epted\n\nInter-Club Friendly Print Competition Guidelines\n\n 	Subject is 
 open\n 	Photo size 8 x10 inches minimum\, 16 x 20 inches maximum\n 	Prints
  must be attached to suitable backing sufficient to stand upright on an ea
 sel to be judged. They may be matted with black or white matting\n 	All en
 tries must have the following information attached to them on the back top
  right corner: Title\, Maker’s Name\, and Club Name\n 	AI generated imag
 es created from scratch are not considered photographic images and are not
  accepted\n 	Use of AI features contained within a post processing applica
 tion such as masking\, sharpening\, de-noise\, content aware fill\, or clo
 ning are permitted\n 	Using Generative Fill AI to remove elements from a p
 hotograph or to expand the canvas is allowed\n 	Using AI to generate a new
  element of an image from a text prompt (e.g. give the subject a red hat) 
 is not allowed\n 	Composite images are allowed as long as all the componen
 ts of the image\, e.g. sky or texture\, were captured by the photographer\
 n\nHow to submit\n\n 	Register your prints for both competitions by submit
 ting the DPC Print Registration Form no later than 11:59PM on Tuesday\, Ma
 rch 25\n 	Bring your physical prints to Kin Village on Wednesday\, March 2
 6 at 7PM\n\nWe need your help!\n\nWe need your help with the following tas
 ks for the Inter-Club Friendly Competition on April 30. Let us know if you
  can help with the following.\n\n 	Order and deliver food and beverages\n 
 	Set up seating\, tables\, easels\, lighting at 6:30 pm\n 	Set up table to
  organize and stack prints pre-judging\n 	Set up print display tables\n 	M
 an the check-in table\n 	Manage the food and beverage table\n 	Take down &
 amp\; clean up afterwards\n\nSponsorship/Prize Donations:\n\nWe're seeking
  support through sponsorship and prize donations. If you have any connecti
