DESCRIPTION:Our Photo Night themes for October are as follows:\n\n 	Rule of
  Thirds: The rule of thirds is a visual composition guideline that divides
  an image into a 3x3 grid using two horizontal and two vertical lines and 
 is a proven composition technique for producing photos that are visually a
 ppealing and dynamic.\n\n 	This article is a good resource on the rule of 
 thirds: Rule of Thirds in Photography: The Complete Guide\n\n\n 	Home Town
 : Images taken close in the current town you call home or some place that 
 feels like home even if you do not live there. (Hint - maybe something fro
 m our season opener in Ladner)\n 	Open: The opportunity to submit photos w
 hich don't fit into the other categories.\n\nPlease take note of the numbe
 ring system below. Each member will go through their top\, number one\, im
 ages/videos for all categories and then we'll move to the next person. So 
 ensure you pick the images/videos you most want to share. If time permits 
 we will repeat the process\, with everyone showing their number two images
 /videos.\n\nIt is important to name your files as shown below so that they
  can be sorted and everyone's images can be shown.\n\n 	Rule of Thirds\n\n

  the 3 themes of 1) Rule of Thirds 2) Home Town 3) Open\n\nEach member can
  submit up to 1 video/slideshow per photo night.\n\nImages/videos/slidesho
 ws need to be uploaded by by 10:00pm on Monday\, October 19\, 2026 using o
 ur upload form. Links to the photo and video upload forms are included in 
 an e-mail with subject line "DPC Photo Night - October 21\, 2026"\n\nRemem
 ber\, for the best display quality\, images should be resized up to a maxi
 mum width of 1920 pixels and a maximum height of 1080 pixels. This may not
  be possible with cell/tablet images so please send us the largest image p
