DESCRIPTION:DPC Photo Night is Wednesday\, October 13\, 2021\nFall is defin
 itely here with the cooling temperatures and the falling leaves. So many p
 hoto opportunities!\n\nIf the cooler temperatures and the changing foliage
  doesn't attract you outdoors what better time is there to peruse all the 
 photographs you've taken. Now that the sunshine and fun summer activities 
 aren't distracting you\, you may have time to find some great images you'd
  like to share. There is the perfect opportunity coming up next week to do
  just that\, with DPC's Photo Night.\n\nThis month's themes are varied\, w
 ith the first one building on our first workshop of the year\, which was a
 ll about Portraits. But\, I'd like to challenge you further and suggest se
 lf-portraits too. Google self portraits online and you'll find some fascin
 ating and inventive photographs. Get imaginative!\n\nWe have three additio
 nal topics for you to think about as well. The first came to mind when I t
 hought of the changes Fall brings after summer and a bridging of two diffe
 rent seasons....it could also be in recognition of many students and staff
  commuting again now that schools and workplaces are open. The topic is al
 l about Bridges and whatever that means to you. The next is Buildings. We
 've spent a lot of time in them over the past while. The last topic reflec
 ts the change in seasons and the rain that brings to the lower mainland. I
 t's Wherever the Rain Goes (or WTRG)  If there is an image that doesn't 
 fit into the above categories\, submit it under Open. Time permitting\, w
 e'll show those as well.\n\nChallenge categories are: Portraits\, Bridges\
 , Buildings\, Wherever the Rain Goes (WTRG) and Open\n\nNote: Each member 
 can submit up to 2 images for each of the challenge categories\n\nAs a rem
 inder we have a year long photography challenge where members are challeng
 ed to take an image of the same location\, space\, or item\, in all four (
 4) of our seasons . The idea is that this location/space/item will change
  with the seasons and therefore represent all the changes that come each t
 ime our season and weather changes. This challenge was introduced last spr
 ing and will culminate in a presentation of member's images Spring 2022. N
 ote: the image you take this season (summer or fall) isn't shown this phot
 o night\, but will become a project/image you will share of all 4 images n
 ext spring.\n\nMembers can also send short slideshows or videos.\n\nZoom m
 eeting details are included in the week's email: Virtual DPC Photo Night\,
  October 13\n\nRemember\, for the best display quality\, images should be 
 resized to a maximum width of 1920 pixels and a maximum height of 1080 pix
 els. This may not be possible with cell/tablet images so please send us th
 e largest image possible\, up to the limits indicated above.\n\nIt is impo
