DESCRIPTION:Hi everyone from David Egan and Dave Francis \n\nWelcome back t
 o the club for the 2018/2019 season. We certainly hope you garnered some g
 reat images this past spring and summer on your travels. If not\, or if yo
 u did and want more\, we at DPC Outings hope to provide you\, through the 
 year ahead\, with opportunities in the field to grow your skill set and ma
 ture as seasoned photographers.\n\nOur first official outing of the new se
 ason will be an evening photowalk at Granville Island. It will be a chance
  to practice low light/long shutter speed technique and creatively manage 
 exposure considerations. It will also be a time to socialize\, to share kn
 owledge and to master equipment and procedure.\n\nDetails for the outing a
 re as follows:\n\nDATE: September 26\, 2018\n\nTIME: 7:00 pm\n\nPLACE: Gra
 nville Island. We will meet at the entrance to Bridge's restaurant. There 
 should be lots of nearby parking at that time\n\nGEAR: Bring wide lenses\,
  camera\, tripod/monopod\, extra batteries\, SD card\, protective sleeves/
 covers\, remote triggers. Dress warmly.\n\nTRANSPORTATION: Carpooling will
  be the best option. Parking is free after 7:00 pm. Ample parking througho
 ut the Island.\n\nREFRESHMENTS: We will finish up @ Bridges around 9:00 pm
  for tankards and tall tales.\n \nHope to see there. Novices to veterans\,
  all are welcome.\n
