SUMMARY:In-House Digital Competition
DESCRIPTION:The DPC In-House Digital Competition is fast approaching\, with
the date set for Wednesday\, April 29th\, 2026. Now is the perfect time t
o let your creativity flow\, fine-tune your images\, and prepare your mast
erpieces for submission. Start planning\, and let your vision shine!\n\nTh
is year we have decided to have an Open Theme. Open Theme refers to a comp
etition where there are no restrictions on the subject matter\, theme or s
tyle of photograph. It is designed to allow maximum creative freedom\, per
mitting entries ranging from landscapes and portraits to abstract and high
 ly manipulated images.\n\nSubmission Rules &amp\; restrictions:\n\n Each
member may submit a total of two images.\n The deadline for submission is
4:00 pm on Saturday\, April 25th. An email will be sent with the submissi
on form for you to submit your images.\n\nImage Requirements:\n\n Max dim
ensions: width 1920 pixels by height 1080 pixels\n Must be in sRGB colour
space\n Must be in jpg file format\n\nAI Considerations\n\nDPC considers
a photographic image as one captured by a light sensitive device such as
a film or digital camera\, cell phone\, or tablet. AI generated images cre
ated from scratch are not considered photographic images and are not accep
ted.\n\nUse of AI features contained within a post processing application
such as masking\, sharpening\, de-noise\, content aware fill\, or cloning
are permitted.\n\nUsing Generative Fill AI to remove elements from a photo
graph or to expand the canvas is allowed.\n\nUsing AI to generate a new el
ement of an image from a text prompt (e.g. give the subject a red hat) is
not allowed.\n\nComposite images are allowed as long as all the components
of the image\, e.g. sky or texture\, were captured by the photographer.\n
\n&nbsp\;\n\nOur judge for the evening is the highly respected Gordon Batt
aile from the Forest Grove Camera Club in Forest Grove\, Oregon. Gordon is
an very experienced judge\, first introduced to us during the North Shore
Photographic Challenge and he has judged and presented to the club numero
us times.\n\nWe are looking forward to see all your amazing images!\nCompe
titions Team\nDavid Egan and Karoline Cullen
