DESCRIPTION:DPC Photo Night is Wednesday\, November 10\, 2021\nNovember is 
 coming upon us with its shorter days\, cold crisp weather\, spooky Hallowe
 'en nights just past and thoughts of Remembrance Day and the bravery of th
 ose who served.\n\nOur themes this month mosty reflect this time of year w
 ith two extra themes to keep it interesting. The first one builds upon the
  Black and White presentation by our guest speaker Cole Thompson and provi
 des a chance for you to practice the techniques he shared with the group. 
 We are challenging you to present a photo taken in colour and your vision 
 of it in black and white\, so that we may see what you started and ended w
 ith. You will present both photos to BeforeBW\; your colour image being th
 e before (1) and your black and white vision image (2) being the after.
 \n\nTh next theme is inspired by Remembrance Day. The challenge is to pres
 ent a photo which honours bravery\, valour\, sacrifice or Heroism and what
  that might mean in its different forms. Is there a hero in your life? We 
 can think of our Covid pandemic and the sacrifices made on that front line
  or the front line of the environmental movement\, indigenous rights\, or 
 homelessness\, to name a few. There are many sacrifices made by individual
 s to achieve a goal and to help others.\n\nThe colours of the season\, suc
 h as orange\, yellow\, and gold inspired our next challenge theme of Warm 
 Colours (WColours). And\, our last challenge theme is Derelict. Here is a

 n\nIf there is an image that doesn't fit into the above categories\, submi
 t it under Open. Time permitting\, we'll show those as well.\n\nChallenge
  categories are: Before &amp\; B/W (BeforeBW)\; Derelict\; Heroism\; Warm 
 Colours (WColours)\; Open\n\nNote: Each member can submit up to 2 images f
 or each of the challenge categories: Heroism\, Warm Colours\, Derelict and
  Open. We ask that members only submit 1 image set for the category Befor
 eBW\, showing their vision of BW with a corresponding before colour image.
 \n\nMembers can also send short slideshows or videos.\n\nCheck your email 
 for the Zoom meeting link and details as well as the link to send your ima
 ges in to.\nRemember\, for the best display quality\, images should be res
 ized to a maximum width of 1920 pixels and a maximum height of 1080 pixels
 . This may not be possible with cell/tablet images so please send us the l
 argest image possible\, up to the limits indicated above.\n\nIt is importa
 nt to name your files as shown below so that they can be sorted and everyo
