DESCRIPTION:DPC Digital Night is Wednesday\, January 9\, 2019\nIt's the st
 art of a new year\, full of 365 days of photographic possibilities. With a
  number of upcoming competitions\, January 9th digital night is a great ti
 me to show your work\, get feedback and fine tune your submissions\; or ju
 st share what you've been photographing recently.\n\nTo help guide you for
  possible digital night feedback\, the two upcoming competitions are as fo
 llows:\nA) CAPA Pacific Zone Print Challenge\nTheme: Open\nMatting: Either
  black or white\nDPC club selection night: January 16\n\nB) North Shore Ph
 otographic Challenge\nTheme: Open\nDPC club selection night: January 30\nN
 ote: This competition is also open to individual submissions as well as su
 bmissions through clubs.\n\nThe themes for this month are:\n\n1. Holiday S
 eason\nShare your holiday season favourites. Images can be of light displa
 ys\, family moments\, or Santa Claus himself.\n\n2. Open\nShare with other
 s your intended competition images or your recent work. Members can ask fo
 r feedback and/or provide how\, when\, and where images were taken.\n\nAs 
 we usually have lots of time each member can submit up to 5 images in each
  category.\n\nMembers can also send short slideshows or videos.  We will 
 show all the Holiday photos first\, Open category second and videos third\
 , as time permits.\n\nRemember\, for the best display quality\, images sho
 uld be resized to a maximum width of 1920 pixels and a maximum height of 1
 080 pixels. This may not be possible with cell/tablet images so please sen
 d us the largest image possible\, up to the limits indicated above.\n\nHol
