DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDPC Digital Night is Wednesday\, January 13\, 
 2021\nHappy New Year everyone! May 2021 bring you and your loved ones heal
 th and happiness.\nWe started the year bringing a wonderful speaker to our
  online meetings. Liron Gertsman had some important planning information a
 nd was an inspiration with his photography. Two categories this month will
  echo the topics Liron touched on: landscape photography and astrophotogra
 phy. To quote photographylife.com\; "Landscape photography is the art of c
 apturing pictures of nature and the outdoors in a way that brings your vie
 wer into the scene."\nI've included two additional categories. The first c
 omes from Pantone who announced its color(s) of the year for 2021: PANTON
 E 17-5104 Ultimate Gray and PANTONE 13-0647 Illuminating (a vibrant yellow
 ). To quote Pantone these two colours represent: "A marriage of color con
 veying a message of strength and hopefulness that is both enduring and upl
 ifting." These colours can be found many places in landscape and urban pho
 tography. With our recent rainy Vancouver weather\, one can easily find th
 e grey backdrop for the colour yellow.\nOur other category is designed to 
 stimulate your creativity and to reflect a past workshop topic on story te
 lling. This category I'm calling 'body parts'. What I'm thinking of is sto
 ry telling through things like hands\, feet\, eyes\, paws\, hooves\, jaws 
 etc. The body parts aren't restricted to human\, they can be animal or may
 be even insect. The key component here is the story that is told when you 
 see the photograph of the body part(s). To quote a famous saying: "The eye
 s are the window to the soul." and hands can tell a person's story. Get cr
 eative!\nLast but not least is our 'Open' category where you can submit an
 y image you'd like to discuss or get feedback on.Categories are: Landscape
  (Land)\, Astrophotography (Astro)\, Pantone's Grey &amp\; Yellow (GY)\, B
 ody Parts (BP) and Open.\nNote: Each member can submit up to 3 images for 
 each of the 5 categories.\nMembers can also send short slideshows or video

 l Night\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRemember\, for the best dis
 play quality\, images should be resized to a maximum width of 1920 pixels 
 and a maximum height of 1080 pixels. This may not be possible with cell/ta
 blet images so please send us the largest image possible\, up to the limit
 s indicated above.\nIt is important to name your files as shown below so t
 hat they can be sorted and everyone's image can be shown.\nLandscape (Land
