Part 2 – Introduction to Digital Photography Workshop by Francois Cleroux

The Delta Photo Club presents the second session of “Introduction to Digital Photography in Two Parts” on Wednesday, October 30. If you missed Part One, no worries as Part Two will focus on the artistic aspects of photography and students will learn how to create better images.

Long time member and acclaimed photographer Francois Cleroux will discuss basic composition principles and the creative consequences of exposures using apertures and shutter speeds. Controlled motion blurs, in-camera movements, shallow depth of field, long exposures, extra long exposures and other creative techniques will be explained or demonstrated. There will be time for Q&A so bring your questions. Attendees will be e-mailed a hand out ‘Study Guide’ if they so choose. If time permits there will be a quick demonstration on how to import images into your computer and how to do some quick edits using Adobe Lightroom.

Pre-registration is not needed. Guests are welcome for $15.00, payable at the door. Class is free for members in good standing of the Delta Photo Club.

When:  7:30 – 9:30 pm, at the Kin Village Recreation Centre in Tsawwassen, Wednesday, October 30th. More details available at www.deltaphotoclub.com or email questions to workshops@deltaphotoclub.com
